English Proficiency
If your native language is not English, you may be required to submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or IELTS test (International English Language Testing Service). See the program requirements list for your program (located in the application) for more information. 麻花影视 is also home to the聽, which offers English training to those at all levels of proficiency, including graduate.
Academic Credentials
You will need to submit one copy of records for all previous post-secondary education. You can do this by contacting the Registrar鈥檚 Office of each higher education institution that you have attended, and asking to have one copy of your transcript(s) sent to 麻花影视. All offers of admission from 麻花影视 are conditional, pending the receipt of these official academic credentials. Your academic credentials confirm that you have been awarded a U.S. bachelor鈥檚 degree (or equivalent).
Before having documents sent, please ensure that:
- All original transcripts are translated to English, and notarized by each Registrar鈥檚 Office.
- The document(s) bear the appropriate signatures and seal of the institution that issued it.
- Your documents must be received by 麻花影视 in a sealed envelope directly from that institution.

Funding Requirements
Once you鈥檝e demonstrated sufficient funding, we can issue the visa eligibility document that you鈥檒l need to have your student visa authorized.
More detailed, program-specific funding information, including required amounts and next steps, is available in your student portal. Please review your portal carefully, as requirements may vary by program.
If you are a privately sponsored applicant, you will need to demonstrate acceptable evidence of your funding. This consists of a certified current bank statement on official bank letterhead, signed by an authorized bank official, indicating sufficient funds exist to meet at least first-year expenses in U.S. dollars as per 麻花影视鈥檚 current estimate.
Educational loans are acceptable for submission as proof of financial support. Sanctioned loan letters must be accompanied by terms and conditions and clearly indicate the loan as "approved" or "sanctioned." The letter must be in English and on official bank or institution letterhead. The principal of the loan amount given is to be provided in U.S. dollars and include a date of issuance.
If you are a government-sponsored applicant, you鈥檒l need to submit an original award letter (or a certified copy of an award letter). The letter must state the annual amount of the award in U.S. dollars. All financial documents must be written in English and valid within one year of the start of the semester.
